Every fall I make a mental list of the things I want to do aka the things I’m going to drag Shaun to. But this year I decided to write my list down and share it with all of you since I live in a super fun city where there is always something going on. Most of these events that are happening within the city repeat every year so if you’re planning a trip to NYC this fall or next you can always reference back to this!
- Take a long walk in Central Park and watch the orange leaves fall.
- Watch Hocus Pocus. On repeat.
- Buy fresh apples from a Farmer’s Market. Attempt to make apple pie.
- Sail on the Schooner Adirondack and watch the sunset over the city.
- Make homemade chili and curl up with a blanket.
- Drink apple cider from Lower East Cider Fest.
- Take the ferry to Governor’s Island and rent a bike.
- Find a vintage shop and buy a flannel.
- Attend Giant Pumpkin weekend at New York Botanical Garden.
- Go to the Village Halloween Parade.
- Find a small bookshop and spend all day in there bundled up in a comfy chair with a book.
- Check out New York Comedy Festival.
- Freeze my butt off at the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.
- Explore Open House New York.
- Go upstate to check out the Great Jack O’Lantern Blaze.
